  I am having the same problem with my sons version of Vista, and we have had it for just over 30 days and he has had to install over 10 times and still it keeps crashing and saying it is not a genuine version of vista. We had to phone for a code and it got it loaded but has been a problem ever since, I am in the process of trying to get a refund and I will be reverting back to XP.
