Phone numbers missing RRS feed

    We are currently moving from LCS 2005 to OCS 2007 which is going great. The only problem I am finding is that when I go to "call" I no longer see any of the users phone numbers. Only an option to start an OC call. I see all other info inclusing Calendar, department etc...

     

    Any ideas on what I might look for?

  • The most likely problem is that your phone numbers don't match the built-in normalization rules.  You need to deploy a Company_Phone_Number_Normalization_Rules.txt file with the proper rules to your address book share to correct this.  Jeff has a good post about this as a starting point.

  • That helped, thanks. I copied the sample and renamed it. After removing the parantheses around our area codes in AD I pulled in phone numbers.

     

    Is there a way to get the IP Phone filed to show up in OC? It seems to normalize fine now but still does not show up.

     

    Also, is there a good manual on creating normalization rules?

    Also, it's possible the TelephonyMode registry setting has been configured to limit EV and RCC calling, but most likely it's an issue with not getting phone numbers normlaized correctly into E.164 format.
