Perodically, I receive a blue screen error. I have followed MSWindows troubleshooting guide up to "Restore to and earlier date." I don't want to do that ... loss of data after Restore date. Is there another way to correct this error without going to Restore.
I'm running XP; updates are current; scan shows no errors; no hard drive errors; no viruses. No new hardware was added.
