An user asked me if it would be possible for him to perform a global search into whole CRM content with keywords.
Does this feature exists out of the box? If yes:
- how to do it into the web browser?
- how to do it into outlook with the outlook plugin?
I know that it's possible to perform advanced search by building queries, and that it is a convenient way to work. I also already tried into outlook to search into a default whole mailbox, but it's pretty slow and results are not really relevant. By adding
the crm layer into a 'global search', I imagine such a query could take hours to perform if only providing one or two keywords...

P.S.: I read pages regarding sql full text search but it is not clear at all for me if that is the way to do to answer my question... so if it is, please provide some info that a beginner can understand!
