Yesterday a customer got some MS Updates on a brand new Lenovo T510. After that Windows lost activation and told OS is pirated. The installation ist a valid Lenovo preinstall, Windows 7, 64 bit. Genuine Microsoft Sticker is attached. Lenovo support told: Reinstall, which is nearly impossible due too extensible configurations. That might take 2 whole workdays, which is more expensive as the notebook itself. Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance. Chris
How to activate Windows 7 manually 1) Click Start, and in the Search box type: slui.exe 4 2) Next press the 'ENTER' key 3) Select your 'Country' from the list. 4) Choose the 'Phone Activation' option. 5) Stay on the phone and wait for a person to help you with activation.
Tell him your COA key (from the sticker), and it should be done."I think there is a world market for maybe five computers.” (Thomas J. Watson, Sr.)
