The product ID -221- Indicates a not for resale MSDN account. If you are not the account holder and you purchased this in a retail box, the box and it's contents are counterfeit. Demand an immediate refund from the seller

  • Your problem was not the install.  As George says, your problem was the source you bought a counterfeit copy of Windows 7 from.  The market is flooded with Chinese-manufactured fakes.  Do not attempt to purchase any licensed software (Windows, Office, Creative Studio, etc.) at a great discount.  Stick to the Microsoft Store, Amazon Corp., or other reliable retailer.  The majority of eBay and Amazon Marketplace copies are counterfeits as are all the copies on discount websites.

If you purchase a full license copy of Windows 7 Professional you will not have to reinstall Windows unless you want to.  You can just change the product key at the bottom of the system properties page.
