SyncToy command line interface RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I have created a task to run SyncToyCmd.exe with the -R parameter and a folder pair name enclosed in quotes (because a space is present). I see the command shell start periodically (I have scheduled the task to run every hour) but the changed files in one directory are not being updated in the other of the pair. Why? I see from another post that no space should be present between the -R and folder pair name. I had originally created the task with a space per SyncToy 2.1 Help. I changed it after reading the post and that had no effect. Which way is correct, with or without a space after -R? This is my current Task Scheduler command string: "C:\Program Files\SyncToy 2.1\SyncToyCmd.exe" -R "My Documents"
