email with message "The router is not configured correctly" received incorrectly every few hours RRS feed

  • I receive an email from WHS 2011 every 3 or 4 hours stating that "The router is not configured correctly." When I open the dashboard there are no alerts and the Remote Web Access setup page reports that access is "Available". I have checked the server logs and found no error records at the times shown in the email alert messages. Access to the server logon and to the web sites I have on my server under IIS all work properly.


    Any hints on where to look next would be appreciated.

  • Just caught the error happening.  At 10:31 AM the alert showed up in the dashboard.  Verified access to *.homeserver.com and my hosted websites all worked.  saw noting in the logs.  In Alert Viewer hit 'refresh"at 10:40 AM and the alert cleared.  Sill no idea of what is causing the alert.
