onecare backup decided to not recognize my WD usb drive RRS feed

  • onecare backup doesn't recognize my WD usb drive (p/n wd3200mlz-00) any more. It has for quite a while but it hasn't for the past couple of days. Device manager says the drive is working just fine, and I can access it no problem with explorer. It is still drive J: as it always has been. I checked permissions and it looks like everyone in the world has permission. onecare is configured to access it as drive J: (which it is) automatically at 3am. It doesn't. Windows Live OneCare is the only program I can find that can't access this drive. Any ideas?
