Other Computers in network not showing under "Computers & backup" RRS feed

    When I open "WHS Console" and look at the Computers & backup tab, no computers would show up. I have since installed and set a hard drive up under server storage for backing up. Now the server shows up under the Computers & Backup tab, but no other computers show up.

    I have 2 windows 7 boxes, and 3 XP Pro SP3 boxes. How can I get these to show up in the Computers & Backup tab?

    You will need to install the Windows Home Server connector on your home computers. This isn't (can't be) done automatically. The easiest way to do this is to open a web browser on each computer and type in the address http://server:55000 (substitute the name you gave your server for "server"). Then follow directions.

    You should also read over the help files in the Windows Home Server console; there is a great deal of useful information.
