I have read most of the FAQ but still do not know what to do in my case. I have a desktop and laptop. I live in Spain and purchased Windows Vista (2 licences) in Englisch as I prefer to work with englsich software rather than spanisch. My laptop was purchased in UK and had englisch Vistaa; I installed one Vista on my desktop. Same with office 2007, I purchased a product with 2 licences and installed one on each computer. The the desktop crashes and the repairshop had no other choice than reinstall windows and all data was lost. I reinstall all my programs, office 2007 as well. Suddenly I face myself with an non genuine copy and can not install the add-ons I used to have. I tried to validate but it does not work.
Now I needto buy soon a new laptop and there I have the problem that both licences of the Vista I purchased are already installed on my desktop and reinstalling the office 2007 on my laptop will give also as result a non genuine copy.
It is not fair that a person that buys offical software and has the original DVD's and packing, is facing after a while non genuine copies. Go to go around that as of course I am not happy to spent money again for something I rlready have purchased
Anyone knows what I must do?
Best regards,
Andre
