Problem in installing VC++ 6.0 in Vista Home Premium Edition ( 64 bit )

  I am following the below mentioned steps for installing VC++ 6.0 on Vista Home Premium ( 64 bit )
  
  1) Run the setup as a administrator
  2) In the end, I get an error, Regcreate Key failed , along with some other error messages
  
  I cannot uninstall VC++ 6.0 also
  
  Please let me know how to solve this problem .
  
  I need VC++ 6.0 badly  for my existing VC++ applications .
