Build Team Enterprise Resources Picklist Blank when Using Windows 7

Question
-
Has anyone seen this before? A PM goes into Build Team and the Enterprise Resource list on the left side of the Build Team dialog box is complety greyed out (not names at all) - just a grey box where the picklist should be.
This is an established project schedule with some enterprise resources already assigned by the same PM using build team. It is not the case where the already assigned resources are greyed out, but no enterprise resources are shown...only a grey box where the pick list should be. The resources are there in Build Team on the PM's Windows XP machine, but not on the PMs Windows 7 machine. Another PM can open the proejct, and the resource picklist is there in Build Team. I have confirmed that the client is connected to the MS Project Server (connected icon, enterprise options, publish button, other server functionlaity, etc.).
I have had this issue before with XP users and have asked them to close and re-open MS Project, and it corrects itself. However, this does not work with this user using Windows 7 (operating system related - unknown at this point).

Can you replicate this on multiple Win7 boxes? I ask because I have never seen this symptom before. Does your company use a standard image? What are the browsers on the respective machines? Do you have compatibility views enable in IE on the Win7 box? I'd look for differences in security settings and browser settings on the machines. I doubt that this is Win7 related.

We are using MS Project 2007. I believe you are correct that this is an issue with browser and/or configuration between machines and not specificaly a Windows 7 compatibility issue that is preventing the Build Team dialog box from displaying the Enterprise Resource list.
Other Windwos 7 machines are able to display the Build Team without issue. The machines use a standard image, but customizations can take place afterwards. IE 7 and 8 are being used. I have suggested the compatibility view be enabled in IE on the Win 7 box.

I don't think this is a Windows issue at all. What it sounds like is a users rights issue. Make sure that when you are having AD sync its not defaulting different permission for you vs. the others. Until I was able to lock down permissions correctly I had to check the box to not sync with AD because every other day my rights would change.
Since this post was from almost a year ago, I am willing to bet that its been resolved.
