    I LOST MY PRODUCT KEY SO MY DESKTOP SAYS I HAVE 28 DAYS LEFT TO ACTIVATE WINDOWS CAN U HELP ME TO GET A GENUINE PRODUCT KEY

    Hello KIDS,

      If your computer came pre-installed with XP, you can find the Product Key on the sticker on the side of bottom of the computer.

      If you bought XP seperate from the computer, the Product Key can be found on the documentation that came with the install Disk.


      If you are still unable to find the Product Key, please see the support doc KB811224 titled "How to identify, locate, and replace a product key"  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811224

    KB824433 titled"Lost or misplaced product key (certificate of authenticity) for Windows" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824433 (this doc is specific to Windows 95, 98, Millennium and Windows 2000, but should also work for XP).
