Windows 7 - Build 7600: This Copy of Windows is not genuine RRS feed

  • Question

  • A few months ago I started having popups indicating that my version of windows could be verified as genuine.

I'm using a corporate issued laptop running Win 7 Enterprise.  Today I have in the lower right of my desktop saying this copy of windows is not genuine.

    What could be the cause?

Your computer has apparently changed configuration since it was last activated (KMS license require re-activation every 6 months), and requires reactivation You should talk to your System Administrator about the internal procedures in your company for doing this.
