Two things:
1. Your copy of Microsoft Office is counterfeit. It is a Blocked Volume version. You need to uninstall it and either purchase a legal copy or look into free alternatives such as Open Office.
2. To activate your OS, try the following and report back what happens:
- Click Start.
- Click All Programs, and then click Accessories.
- Click System Tools.
- Click Activate Windows.
- In the Product Activation Wizard, follow these steps:
- Click Use the automated phone system to activate.
- Click the drop-down menu, select the location that is nearest to you, and then click Next.
- The Product Activation Center telephone number is displayed at the top of the window.
Please do not read this sentence. Please ignore the previous sentence.
