Non validation in a genuine MSO Home & Student 2007 RRS feed

  • I installed a MS Office HS original and upgraded to a MS Office Standard both genuine. Now, can't validate the HS version, yet installed. I run the tools suggested by you in this forum. There you go. Can you help me?

    Is the Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 a trial version? More than likely it may be. If so please uninstall this version and all should be fine.

    No, it's not. It's bought at a retail store. veryly and truerily genuine soft. I have the product key in the plastic box in front of me.
    Can the solution be to uninstall that version? If so, I'll loose OneNote? How can I preserve it?

    That is a very interesting issue and we don’t have a good answer for this one without additional information.  We would really like to get a better understanding of this issue so we can better assist not only you but other users with similar problems as well.  Could you please submit a service request with Microsoft Product Support using the following link:  http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=52029.  Please include the following:

     

    - Product Key for both versions of MS Office you purchased

    - Provide the Serial number on each box.

    - Any packaging information such as: 

       -  Did the product come in retail packaging or was it in an OEM style packaging.

    - Contact phone number in case we need to call and ask further questions

    - Email contact information

     

    Once you have done that, please reply back to this post and provide the SR # generated by the service request.  Please let us know if you would be willing to do this!! We are looking forward receiving your information so we may be able to research the situation.
