My Issue is below and I do not know which forum is best suited for this
I have installed Office Online Server 2016 and after the installation completes, the Office Online Service will not start.
When I try to restart it, I get a pop-up:
The Office Online service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.
The service is set to start using Local System. I have changed this to a Local Admin account and still the same pop-up.
In the event logs this is the only error that shows for this:
Service cannot be started. System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'Microsoft.Office.Web.Common.ServiceInstanceFinder' threw an exception. ---> Microsoft.Office.Web.Common.OfficeServiceException: ServiceInstanceFinderAdapter
did not return data on first request ---> System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key was not present in the dictionary.
I have tried a repair of the install and uninstall/reinstall with no luck.
If you have any pointers or can provide any assistance, it would be greatly appreciated.
