Hotmail compromised, is my desktop too??? RRS feed

    A week back i got this notices on my inbox reading "Failure in Delivery..." to a number of ppl on my contacts list. It kept me wondering what was going on, but with great research and background searches i came to realize that my hotmail account has been compromised. In my response i changed password with combination of numbers and uppercases to stop my a/c from being hacked. 

    This brings me to question, is my pc affected with virus. ??? Coz as soon as i logout of my a/c i get directed to this link http://hmit.ww.msn.com/logout.aspx?mkt=en-X2, which it does not exist, i normally get directed to msn's homepage. 

    I appreciate any solutions

    I'm experiencing the same problem. Could you fix your PC? Did you understood what happened?
