am not sure where you got your 4.x version, but can you not recompile using the 1.0 assembly?

Hi JuneT,
I have downloaded the sync toolkit, it generates Microsoft.Synchronization.Services.dll (Product version 1.0). but I have used 4.0.1668.0 in my application. when I use the 1.0 dll, I am getting the following error.
"Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Synchronization.Services, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) "
