SYSTEM user in SystemUser table? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey,

    Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.

There are a two "special" users in SystemUser table that come with the default installation - "SYSTEM" and "INTEGRATION". These users have also ActiveDirectoryGuid value present. Could anyone explain to me from where are these values taken from?

For other users, the ActiveDirectoryGuid value actually references to user GUID in Active Directory. But for those 2 special users, i cannot find any reference between my Active Directory users and those GUID values that they have.

    Regards,

      Martin.

  • They are special users that will not show in AD Users and Computers,

The stored procedure that creates these accounts in CRM simply passes a newly generated guid value into the ActiveDirectoryGuid system user field. The stored procedure in the CRM DB is something like CreateSpecialUsers. If these fields are updated later to match a AD user in the install process then I'm not aware of that.
