duplicate detection job - crm 2013 RRS feed

  • Hi guys and girls

    I have a strange error. When trying to create a duplicate detection job, I am unable to select anything but "Leads" in the drop down menu.

    This is on a CRM 2013 Onpremise version.

    I have tested on CRM Online, and there I am able to create jobs for both Leads, Contact and Accounts.

    I have tested on multiple CRM onpremise environments, and depending on the environment, it only shows me 1 select option for each of the organisations.

    Any ideas? Is this a MS bug? I think so.

    And yes.. There are published duplicate detection rules for f.ex. contacts and the entity does have duplicate detection enabled.

  • Found our own answer.

    The problem is related to the upgrade process.

    If you upgrade a CRM 4.0 to CRM 2011 and again to CRM 2013, the duplicate detection rules may be valid, but you are unable to initiate any duplicate detection jobs.

    The solution is:

    Delete the upgradede Duplicate detection rules and create them again.

  • go entity setting there you need check the duplicate detection do you did that?

  • Of cause. as I wrote in the last line of the question. It is activated on the entity.
