I read the chapters and took the practice tests for the first objective, installing sql 2008 using the Microsoft 70-432 self paced study guide. Then I took the same test using questions provided by Measureup, who is listed as a preferred provider for
training. Some of the questions from Measure up are NOT included in the Microsoft book, self paced training kit 70-432 book. Example. Measureup asked a question about the Max Woker Threads setting. That parameter is not even mentioned
in the Microsoft Book, especially in the first objective.
I mastered the first objective content covered in the Microsoft Press book, but felt like a dummy when I took the Measureup test. 5 of the first 7 questions were not mentioned at all in the MS book. Example: Measure up asked a question about database
upgrade to 2008 from a 2000 version that uses merge replication. Hello, that was not mentioned, discussed or even hinted at in the Microsoft study guide
Question: If I master the contents covered in the 70-432 Microsoft book will I pass the test? Need some advice on what to study. I studied the first 4 objectives listed in the book, now I feel very unprepared.
Need some help on what to study, and I am making the assumption the Microsoft Study Guide is the official resource for all questions on the test. Any test takers know different ?
