When Vista cmae out on RC1 i decided to buy the Windows Vista Release Candidate 1 Customer Preview Program. But after i got it i ended up reading up on some things about Vista that made me decide not to install it on my PC. Ive been keeping up with the changes and updates that Vista needed in order to resolve some errors and bugs. I decided now to put the copy of Vista that i purchased directly from Microsoft onto my PC. So i reformatted my entire computer. Installed Vista onto my computer and now i have a computer sitting here with "Restricted access" or something. I tried to activate my key several times but windows kept informing me that it had expired or something. I talked to a computer tech he locally about it and he informed me that i didnt need the product key in order to just test the software out because Microsoft has some 30day trila thing before you have to actually activate the key. So i ended up reformatting my PC again, didnt put the key in, Vista installed the same way it did the first time and now i still cant use Vista, all i can use is IE. Anyway that i can use the key i got in the first place in order to use Vista and test it out on my computer before i pledge myself back to XP and forget Vista all together? I get the error code: 0XC004E003 when i try to activate my product key.
