XNA Framework will not uninstall or repair error codes 2503 and 2502

I am trying to use Microsoft XNA Framework for a game on my laptop.When I press Uninstall or Repair the bar goes about 1/2 way then says error code 2503,I click X in the top right then the bar goes 3/4 and says error 2503 again I click X again and it says the installer ended prematurely because of an error (code 2503) which could indicate a problem with the package
