MDT 2010 deployment of CRM 4 outlook client failing RRS feed

    Hello,

    I am trying to deploy CRM outlook client using the following command SetupClient /Q /l c:\clientinstalllog.txt INSTALLLEVEL=2 /targetdir "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM Client"

    But that fails and in the clientinstalllog.txt file the following error message is logged:

     Error 1719. The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed.

    Anyone who knows this problem and can help me?

    Ok, it looks like mdt 2010 does not detect that CRM is still installing, because i told the apllication installation to reboot when finished.

    So it reboots while it still is installing.....

     

    Now this problem of not detecting that it is ready with the installation is also keeping the rollups for CRM from installing, because if CRM outlookclient is not installed the rollup wont install)

    So i probaly need to build a script with a wait component in it.
