    Where else should I report this?  When,  after reading a Forum query and submitting a reply, I entered a few words into the Search bar  - "Windows 8 security certificate" - I immediately received the Server Error page with the following text:

    <fieldset>

    502 - Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server.

    There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content server, it received an invalid response from the content server.

    </fieldset>

    Did I submit something wrong per the 'Rules of conduct/" ?  Wash my mouth out with SOAP?

    Hi,

    The forums have been having problems for about a month or so. The 502 error is less frequent than the generic 'Internal Server Error' pages, but they've been noticed as well:

    The best way to report this issue is to send in an email to fissues (at) microsoft [dot] com with a link to the URL you received the error from and when it happened.

    What is 502 server

    The 502 Bad Gateway error is an HTTP status code that means that one server on the internet received an invalid response from another server. 502 Bad Gateway errors are completely independent of your particular setup, meaning that you could see one in any browser, on any operating system, and on any device.

    How do I fix Error 502 server?


    1. Reload the page.
    2. Look for server connectivity issues.
    3. Check for any DNS changes.
    4. Sift through your logs.
    5. Fix faulty firewall configurations.
    6. Comb through your website's code to find bugs.
    7. Contact your host.

    So far, I have not been encountering issues so this actually surprises me. I think it's great that didn't experience it since I am such a paranoid person. Still, if I was you, try messaging the admins and see if how they can fix it. Seeing here, you're not the only one who experiences it so maybe you should just try to raise it and share the answers to everyone if you can. But that's just my idea. It's up to you.
