Windows Vista 6001 is not genuine RRS feed

    I've had this message for the last couple of days. I've followed the instructions from this post and it says my license is invalid.

    For some reason, your PC is unable to properly read the SLIC table that should be present in the BIOS, and which allows the OEM_SLP key with which your computer was shipped to self-activate the way it should.
    The fix is to change the Product Key to the one on your COA sticker, using the Change Product Key link at the bottom of the System Properties page. Once you've done that you will probably need to activate by phone.
