  • Hi,

My suggestion will be to go for MCSE: Business Intelligence

    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-sg/mcse-sql-business-intelligence.aspx

There is 5 exams in total comprise of the following -

    1. 70-461 : Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012
    2. 70-462 : Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Databases
    3. 70-463 : Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012

When you complete the above 3 exams, you will gain the title MCSA.

Then two more exams to go to achieve MCSE.

    1. 70-466 : Implementing Data Models and Reports with Microsoft SQL Server 2012
    2. 70-467 : Designing Business Intelligence Solutions with Microsoft SQL Server 2012

    -----------

I still see 70-448 still available at Prometric site, which means the exam is still available but you need to complete the other two papers in order to achieve the MCSA title, completing less than that will not earn you MCTS but you will definitely get MCP title if this is your first exam done for Microsoft.

    Cheers.

  • Hi, kbsaravana.

Please know that MCTS certification titles are "stepping stones" to MCSA titles.

Yes - when you pass 70-448, you will earn the title: MCTS: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Business Intelligence Development and Maintenance

Then, if you also pass 70-432, you will also earn two (2) more titles:
MCTS: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance
    MCSA: SQL Server 2008

Here are the MCTS: SQL Server 2008 exam descriptions: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/mcts-certification.aspx#item-ID0EGAAAAACA

Here is the MCSA: SQL Server 2008 exam description: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/mcsa-sql-certification.aspx#sql2008

None the certifications or exams mentioned above are scheduled for retirement. They are all active!
