Upgrading CRM 2013 to CRM 2015 hangs on Publishing Neglected Cases RRS feed

  • Hi!

    We are upgrading CRM 2013 to 2015... it has been running for 24 hours on stage "Publishing Neglected Cases". The Cancel button is inactive... what sholud we do?

  • It may be that the UI is not responding, but the setup may have continued. I'd check the installation log (in %appdata%\Microsoft\MSCRM\logs ) to see if the setup had progressed past this stage.

    It may be that the setup is taking this long - this is possible if you have a very large database, or tables with a large number of rows. You can use SQL system stored procedures (I use sp_who2) to see if there are any active SQL connections from the setup program

  • Hello all.

    I was wondering if this had a resolution?

    I know its been a year but I was hoping to know if someone has resolved this issue.

    I seem to be getting into this issue myself - and im not sure if Im going to just let it run the install until whenever it wants to complete? or do something else.
