    Hello all,

    I always get this message "The text entered exceeds the maximum length" whenever i try to go to  Tools > Options then press ok, even if i didn't make any change, so any ideas about this error ?

     

    Note:

    This is a new installation of CRM 4.0.

    Ok, i found the cause of this "stupid" error. the length of the password in the E-mail tab exceeds the maximum length. any ideas about how to change this size ?

     

    Note : I'm using the same user and password in another crm installation and it works fine !!

    Hi Muhamed,

    I recall seeing this a while back and think it may have been fixed in one of the later rollups.  ARE you in update rollup 8 or newer?

    Hi Alex,

    I installed rollup 11 for the server, but the MUI update always give me this error MSG "Microsoft Dynamics CRM English user interface pack was not found in the system".

    i tried also to install the MUI update from rollup 10, 9, and 8 and i always get this error MSG.

     

    so any ideas ?
