    Is it possible to make a call from Comunicator to outside without tel: ?

    Most definitely it is possible. In the User's Communications properties, you do have to put tel:+1XXXXXX but in communicator, with the right Phone number normilization rules, you should be able to type an extension or a full phone number.

    Hi,

     

    I know I am digressing and don't have the answer to your question... but maybe you can help. What is the procedure to make a call from Communicator to telephone? When I make communicator to communicator calls (ie. dbl click on the user name), the call goes through to both phone and communicator, so I am doing that part correctly.  I also have posted earlier on the same forum about this.

     

    If my extension is 52345, I type tel:52345, but there is no dialtone even.
