One Care and Windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Since OneCare will not work with Windows 7 and should be uninstalled when upgrading to 7, what exactly will the new windows have for protection?  I've read a few articles pointing to Action Center but have not been able to find any full explanation.  Please let me know since I aready Pre-Ordered the upgrade.  Having used the RC version I find it a much better platform than XP and faster than Vista

  • You will be able to use any antimalware product you like on Windows 7. Currently Microsoft Security Essentials ( formerly known as Morro ) is in public beta and should be released at about the same time as Windows 7.
