I can understand your frustration with things not going the way you want them to go. But if your seeing different files in folders that you have set to be synchronizing with Live Mesh, I'd really like to better understand what broke.
If you could, on your PC and Notebook, if you haven't uninstalled Live Mesh yet, please send me your logs.
Start, All programs, Live Mesh, Collect Live Mesh Logs.
It will put a cab file on your desktop called: LiveMeshLogs.cab
If you could mail those logs to me at:
LMPrev@microsoft.com so we can see what went wrong and where I'd like to have the opportunity to repair the problem for you.
