  • Question

  • Hi,

Can we have role based service installation for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4 Professional Edition? What I mean is can we have the flexibility to install Application Server Role, Platform Server Role on different servers?

If anyone can mention the exact difference between Professional and Enterprise Editions of CRM? What I guess is it is only the multi-tenancy feature.
    Thank you.

  • Hi Gagandeep,

Role based service installation is only available in the Enterprose Edition.  The difference between professional and enterprise is the multi-tenancy feature.  Your license key control what you see through the installation process.
