WebResourceUtility for command-line use or Visual Studio integration RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

In order to get more structure to our solution development, we would like to use a tool like the WebResourceUtility available in the 2011 SDK, but as a command-line tool to use in our post-build events in Visual Studio.

An even better solution would be to have something using the VS project, and creating web resources for all files tagged as Content, or all files that are copied to output directory.

Does anyone out there have any tips on how to accomplish this?

The WebResourceUtility in the SDK does just what we want, we would just like to be able to do it without the GUI.

    /Jonas
