Please try phone activating and speak with a customer service representative when you're given the option. You can get started with phone activation by typing "slui.exe 4" in the search field in the Start Menu and pressing Enter.

    This should resolve the issue.

  • Hi,

I ran the report that you sent through our tool and it appears that something is corrupt in the file. There is a new version of the diag tool at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012  That’ll help me understand why you’re unable to validate.  Also, can you tell me what error code you get when you try to validate?  It’ll be gray and in brackets at the end of the message on the validation failure web page. Please post the results here.

    Thanks

  • You can get started with phone activation by typing "slui.exe 4"
in the search field in the Start Menu and pressing Enter.
The phone activation process takes about 6 minutes.

"This machine ran great for 3+ months all updates installed now have to phone every 3 days just to reativate .Can some one PLEASE suggest a  solution  ."

the 'bandaid' phone call to   reativate  is not a solution to the problem ...???why the op sys needs to be reactivated because of a simple Bios or driver update ???
