    I am trying to install One Care onto my laptop after recieving it yesterday and I keep getting the same error message - OCSetup.exe- Bad Image, which reads;

     

    'E:\WinSSPlatform.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error ...... etc.'

     

    Presumably the platform is designed to run on Windows unless I am a complete idiot, so what's the problem?!?!

    It could be that you purchased an old One Care CD which is not compatible with the version of Windows you are currently running. Go to - http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-us/default.htm and install the One Care trial. After installation open One Care, select "Subscribe" follow the prompts to the payment page and when asked for a method of payment select "Pre-Paid PIN or Token". Enter the 25 digit product key enclosed with your CD and your subscription will activate.
