Run a bat in background RRS feed

  • Is it possible to run a bat in background even the user logoff after started that bat ??

    Not using task scheduler, Not using Window services

  • We do this with the task scheduler in Windows.  Same thing just no shortcut.

    In linux/unix is exactly the same, if you logout the process in background end, but I speak about &, not nohup 

     An italian idea to have  something similar to nohup and & should be

    psexec.exe \\%computername% -d -s timeout 500

    where timeout 500 is the command to put in background
