Rollup 3..is it worth installing if already installed Rollup 4? RRS feed

    Hi there,

    I've installed the necessary server and client side rollup 4 updates, is there any point in installing rollup 3?  or is that already covered through 4?

    Please read the following which I have taken from the following KnowledgeBase article

    The issues that are resolved in Update Rollup 4 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0

    Update Rollup 4 is a cumulative update rollup that includes all the fixes for the issues that are documented in Update Rollup 1, in Update Rollup 2, and in Update Rollup 3.



    The reason for the difference in size is due to the Languages.  Rollup 1 contains all the hotifxes in every single language.  Rollup 2, 3, 4 are language specific which means you only download the hotfixes in the relavent language - Hence why there is such a file size difference.

    Each rollup has the updates from the previous rollups so you do not need to install rollup 3.

    Please. Can you show where it is written?

    Rollup 1 have size 169 Mb (Server part)
    Rollup 2 have size ~9 Mb (Server part)

    And I do not understand how this can be!
