  • Hello All,

I've determined that the problem was a botched upgrade to R2 beta.

  • For discussions of the 2008 R2 Beta program please use the "Connect Site" (connect.microsoft.com, where you downloaded). Submitting bugs through the 'feedback' links on that site. Doing that will ensure that the right people look at the issue in a timely manner.

  • Hello,

i have to reissue this thread.

I built a Cluster at our University and i want to send Jobs to the nodes via the HPC Cluster Manager.

If i try to submit or to modify Jobs, the described failure

"Database exception:Procedure or function 'Schd_NextTaskId' expects parameter '@numTasks', which was not supplied. "

appears and the job cannot be modified or submitted.

Thus i am not able to use my Cluster :-|

The installation of Windows Server 2008 R2 native was ok.

Thanks in advance for any answers.

    Fabian

Edit: I have installed the free trial of HPC
