Activation problem with Dell laptop

Question
-
I have a problem with activation. Laptop was sent to Dell for harddrive repairs and they re-installed Vista Basic which didn't work as it wouldn't let me type the 'N' character from the product key sticker. I managed to get the Magical Jelly Keyfinder to find what my alledged code was which is below, but my real code on the sticker contains the letter 'N'
Dell were clueless and want me to send the laptop back but I haven't time for that!

I re-installed and it seems to be working so far. I don't get the phone activation option when I do the above, just the option to buy a new key, enter a different key or contact dell to resolve the problem.
Alas at the moment it is working...Thursday, April 24, 2008 8:07 PM
