Unexpected Error

  I'm so fed up!  One day I use Live Writer without any problems, the next day I get "An unexpected error has occurred within the application" whenever I try to do any linking or click on "Tools" under Options.  WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO FIX THIS???  This is the second time this has happened to me, and I have no clue what's causing it!  (And yes, I'm kicking myself royally for not saving the solution from the last time it happened!)  I'm running Windows 7, and use Chrome for my browser.
