CRM 2013 - 2007 endpoint service RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All,

Few weeks ago, we migrated our existing CRM 4.0 to 2013 by going through the path from 4.0 -> 2011 -> 2013.

Currently, we are fixing issues in our custom code where we used  http://servername/MSCrmServices/2007/CrmServiceWsdl.aspx

My question is while taking into consideration CRM 2013, above link works by just changing the servername from CRM 4.0 server to CRM 2013 server.

Will this be advisable, to use or should we build our code with the new architecture using some other services provided by CRM 2013?

If yes, can anyone please provide us with any sample code?

  • Ravi,

it is removed. because you can see that on your IIS folders does not mean they are available for you to use. Documentation clearly says it is not available. :). I remember seeing an explicit deny on the web.config

crm 2013 - crm 2007 endpoints no longer works. You will have to upgrade your JavaScript, plugins and any custom workflow activities. The above link is a good start.

  • I totally understood that. But why Microsoft have not removed that service yet? Can't we use that service if they are not removing that?

    Any idea?
