Office Professional 2007 Blocked VLK RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm being told as of today my "Office Professional 2007" is not valid ? The disks look like the hologram shown for "Office Ultimate 2007"

    I have made a piracy report but believe it is a "false positive/negative" by Microsoft (not looking good IMO)

    Diagnostic Report (1.9.0006.0):
    OGA Data-->
    Office Status: 108 Invalid VLK
    Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 - 108 Invalid VLK
    OGA Version: Registered,
    Signed By: Microsoft
    Office Diagnostics: B4D0AA8B-604-645_025D1FF3-365-80041010_025D1FF3-230-80041010_025D1FF3-231-1_025D1FF3-518-80040154_025D1FF3-238-80040154_025D1FF3-239-2_025D1FF3-245-80070002_025D1FF3-259-3

    The program http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 is still saying Office Status: 108 Invalid VLK (maybe an updated version available now?)
    But Mystically I now get
    Using http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/ValidateNow.aspx?displaylang=en

    Validation Successful!

  • Hello Petzlex,

    Thank you for posting the partial WGA Diagnostic results here in the OGA Forum :-).  Thank you for visiting the Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) program forum. I understand that in most cases, customers have no idea their copies of MS Office Suites were not legitimately provided.   This is because some resellers try to cut costs by providing unauthorized copies, but still charge the customer for a copy of Windows and MS Office Suite.  This may not have happened in your case, but it does happen.  Also, we appreciate your concern that you’ve been using your copy of Windows for a long time. People often wonder, how is it that all of a sudden my copy turns out to be counterfeit.  This is because Microsoft is continually investigating piracy reports, and identifying Product Keys that are being used improperly.  It is possible for a Product Key to be used over a course of time, which may or may not be your case, but is then found to be a source of counterfeit software and therefore blocked from validating.

    May I suggest a couple of links to follow this up?
