account blocked from sending mail

    Question

  • Our small office recently moved to a microsoft live account.  We have been using it for a few months.  I just set up a new email account to launch a new product.  I sent an email to my customer list (about 150 emails).  Apparantly I violated the terms of use agreement and I am blocked from sending email.

"550.5.3.4 Requested action not taken:  This account is currently blocked from sending messages.  If you dont think you've violated the windows Live Terms of Use, please contact customer support."

It appears that my email may have voilated the terms of use agreement.  Will I be unable to send emails like this from the Windows live account?  It was a legitimate business email to customers.  If I upgraded to Live Plus, would it solve the problem?  Am I blocked forever? I used this email address in my advertising.

I appreciate the effort to stop spamming but I think I got caught in the spammer net.  Thanks for yout help.
