Addition of new items to Status Reason of Lead RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have a requirement to add few more items to 'Status Reason' attribute (picklist) of the Lead. Currently they hold New and Contacted as two values, can i further add few more items to it? Since this is the system attribute i wanted to know whether we can add further items to this picklist or not.

  • Hi,

    Yes you can add further items in the Status Reason picklist as per required.

    For CRM 4.0

    In CRM go to Settings -> Customization -> Customize Entities , double click on Lead entity and go to Fields, double click on the Status Reason attributes add values as per required, Save and Publish Entity customization

    For CRM 2011

    In CRM go to Settings->Customization->Customizations->Cusotmize the System->Entities->Lead->Fields , double click on the Status Reason field add values as per required, Save and Publish Entity customization

    In CRM 2011 

    You can go to Settings->Customizations->Customize the System-> Lead-> Fields -> Status Reason(Double Click) -> Add values (whatever you want to add) -> Save ->Publish.
