  • Hi everyone,
                     i have a htc s710. Previously i had a problem to access my phone via remotely then you guys help me i m very thankful of you guys and appreciate your work. Now i have another problem, when i install any application in my phone for example recently install an application for sms filter and i found an error that this application requires a newer version of .net compact framework. Please tell me from where i check which version of .net compact framework is install in my phone and how i upgrade .net compact framework.
    Please reply asap.

  • The *only* .Net Compact Framework installations that you find for download at Microsoft are meant to be installed from the PC. Trying to download and install it directly from your device will never work for any of the downloads Microsoft has.

    If you have some other means of copying files to your phone (memory card, e-mail) then you may want to search your hard drive for a file named "NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab" and copy that to your device and then open it. That file would have been placed on your hard drive when you installed the MSI.
    It takes all the running you can do to stay in one place.If you want to get somewhere else,you must try to run at least twice as fast as that.

  • If you need to install .Net Compact Framework 3.5 to your device, you can download it here .

    After you download it, select the file, and an installation wizard will appear and prompt you through the rest of the installation.

                                             When i open this link on my htc s710 and try to download it then the message appears that this installation is not done on this device. What is that kindly advice me.

  • The installation must be downloaded and run from your PC. The PC will then install the .Net Compact Framework on your device.  So make sure your device is connected to your PC before running this.

              Thanks for ur reply but i previously said that i have an issue to connect my htc s710 to pc.When i connect my phone to pc then pc said that this usb is not recognized thats why i came here and one of you advice me to access htc s710 via myphone its basically a software that provide me a web access of my phone you better know about that.

             So my question is this can i upgrade my .net compact framework on my htc s710 via wifi.One more thing i tell you when i open the web page to download .net from microsoft site then the message comes that this istallation is not done on this device.
    Plz help.
