Running out of Disk Space on C:\ RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I have an Acer Aspire EasyStore Windows Home Server with the initial installed 1TB drive, plus a second one.

I am seeing 76GB used in the C:\FS directory and over 550GB used in a Wistron\Video subfolder which looks to be duplicates of the video files I have in the shares directory.

Should I be concerned, should I be doing anything to help clean up those folders?

  • You shouldn't be logging in to your server using Remote Desktop, mostly. :)

Windows Home Server manages secondary disks in the storage pool through mount points in C:\FS. So there's nothing wrong, you're just seeing your second disk with the data on it.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
