CRM 2011: Connecting to CRM 2011 from a developed client pros and cons RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all, currently I'm doing an assessment in order to select the best technology to be used in developing a web application to be used to connect to CRM 2011, whether it's java or C#

So I was wondering if there exist any document or a link that describes best practices, pros and cons, etc.. of using one of the above technologies in order to develop the web application.

    Thanks and best regards..

  • Hi Mostafa,

If you have the choice, C# will be the easiest option because the SDK assemblies and examples are all .net.

  • I agree with Scott. CRM2011 Microsoft product and I will stick to Microsoft products to work with CRM2011. I can't see a problem connecting using java either.

As most people are using csharp to work with CRM2011, you can find more sample codes, blogs etc in csharp.

    I hope this helps.
